Charity Navigator is a leading nonprofit watchdog that evaluates organizations on financial health, accountability, and transparency: empowering donors to give with confidence. I partnered closely with Charity Navigator’s leadership to refresh their social identity, expand their reach among new donor audiences, and shift the broader conversation around charitable giving in the 2020s.
My work spanned both long-term strategic initiatives and rapid-response crisis communications, driving timely, mission-aligned messaging during events such as the Los Angeles wildfires, the crisis in Gaza, and the war in Ukraine. This included developing a modernized visual identity, leading integrated paid and organic social strategies, and delivering actionable insights through detailed reporting and analysis.
These efforts contributed to significant growth across social channels: a 27% increase in audience size, a 22% increase in engagements, and a 10% rise in impressions. Beyond the numbers, Charity Navigator earned strong recognition for its strengthened position as a leader in transparent, accountable giving within the social landscape.
